CHANDIGARH: A delegation of Joint Action Committee (JAC) met former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh at New Delhi. Chairman, JAC, Ashwani Sekhri; president, Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) and different representative of the JAC were the part of the delegation.
In 45 minutes long meeting, Ashwani Sekhri emphasized on the problems which may rise up to the small unaided faculties of India as in keeping with the brand new draft of training policy.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, member of the delegation mentioned that at the finish of the June, JAC would cling a Punjab level Education Summit of Stake Holders through which four Education Ministers, Secretary, Directors related to the schools, Higher Education, Technical Education, Medical Education and so forth would participate. After the summit, the record would be submitted to Chief Minister, Punjab and Prime Minister of India, Sh. Narendra Modi Ji. Nirmal Singh mentioned that brainstorming on the new training policy is required to avoid wasting the Education Fraternity and small unaided faculties of the Country.
