Soon after the Chief Minister introduced Cabinet enlargement on Twitter, Congress MLA BC Patil, one of the sturdy claimants for the ministerial berth, spoke out against the celebration and his leaders on Saturday indicating that he's not likely to be considered for the lone Cabinet berth for the Congress. Patil, a cop-turned-politician, said that he would announce his next course of action at an acceptable time.

“This is an insult to the community,” the Lingayat MLA from Hirekerur said, including that he's no longer a spare phase to be used and thrown by way of celebration leaders.
