The variations between coalition partners Congress and JD(S) came to the fore once more on Friday because the oath-taking rite of former Congress MLA GA Bava as chairman of the Karnataka State Minority Commission was cancelled at the remaining minute. Bava was scheduled to take oath at 4pm, however the rite was stopped by means of senior Congress leaders.
