South African crew bureaucracy a huddle. Afghanistan openers Hazratullah Zazai and Noor Ali Zadran are making their strategy to the center.
Both teams - South Africa and Afghanistan - have coated for the national anthems.
Pitch file - BY SHAUN POLLOCK:
Plenty of grass at the wicket and you'll be able to make things occur as a bowler. There might be numerous movement if you hit the deck around the excellent duration house. It might be difficult for few batsmen, reckons Shaun Pollock.
TEAM NEWS:
South Africa are unchanged, while former skipper Asghar Afghan replaces Najibullah Zadran in the Afghanistan XI
CAPTAINS' TAKE
Gulbadin Naib:
Honestly I'd have favored to bowl first as neatly. The entire ultimate week it's been raining. We have practised for the ultimate Three-4 days and with a bit of luck we do neatly. There is one trade, Najibullah isn't enjoying and Asghar is enjoying. He is an experienced participant and we wish to have him at the field.
Faf du Plessis:
We are going to have a bowl first. Just the nature of the week, it's been raining so much and the pitch has been underneath covers. With some rain around it will give you a clear indication on what to do. We haven't played any cricket since that (West Indies) recreation. So, there was no wish to trade the crew. This week has been a lot of rain and now not best in terms of getting time in the nets. We have had some truly excellent crew chats on where we need to go as a crew and with a bit of luck we see some of that in motion. We need to unlock the guys. There is a lot of stuff we wish to fear about at the day but it is usually important to get away. The World Cup is a protracted tournament and we wish to ensure the guys are truly fresh once they get at the pitch.
