Surat administration has deepened 38 ponds at a price of Rs96.95 lakh to store further three,000 million litres of water across the district. Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) too plans to use the 333 rainwater harvesting systems advanced up to now six months to store further 2,000 million litres of water.
