The deliberate axing of over nine,000 bushes, including 1,200 banyans, on the Hyderabad-Chevella-Bijapur national freeway, has brought about an enormous debate. While some environmentalists are antagonistic to translocation of these bushes mentioning poor chances of survival, others shield it as the only means of saving inexperienced cover.
