Twenty years after Kargil, the circle of relatives of Major Padmapani Acharya, who was once martyred simply a week after his 30th birthday, plans to hold a programme on his birthday which falls on June 21. The programme targets to inspire people to sign up for the forces and raise finances for the military welfare fund. Several buddies of Major Acharya have been invited to address the programme.
