NEW DELHI: Delhi Police's crime branch has arrested Gursewak Babla, a fugitive militant of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF), a terrorist organization.
Fifty-three-year-old Gursewak is from Ludhiana in Punjab and used to be arrested by means of crime branch group, led by means of DCP Bhisham Singh from ISBT in Delhi.
"Gursewak Babla was involved in more than 50 sensational cases of terrorist activities, murders of police officials and police informers, bank and police station dacoities, robberies etc. of Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh," further commissioner Ajit Singla told TOI.
The accused used to be an associate of Jarnail Singh Bhinderwale who used to be killed in operation Blue Star by means of the Indian Army.
"Presently, the accused was planning to re-constitute his organization on instructions of KCF chief Paramjeet Singh Panjwad, based in Pakistan and was in touch with Jagtaar Singh Hawara and other militants lodged in jails in India," DCP Bhisham Singh mentioned.
He added that a non-bailable warrant for his arrest used to be issued by means of the Patiala House Courts in two instances as he used to be evading trial in a couple of instances.
