ALLAHABAD: UP minister of state for prison Jai Kumar Singh Jaiki on Wednesday said the state govt has decided to name the dental sanatorium, operated by dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar in Dasna prison, after their daughter Aarushi.
The near defunct dental sanatorium was revived by the Talwars right through their imprisonment in the Aarushi-Hemraj double homicide case.

The Talwars were acquitted by the Allahabad top court docket on October 12 and released on October 16.
The minister said the Talwar couple had asked that the dental department of the prison health facility be named after their daughter Aarushi.
"Sarkar unki ichcha ka samman karti hai, aur isme koi harj bhi nahi hai (The state government respects their feelings, and the re is also no harm in it). We are serious on the issue of renaming the clinic as the Talwars had immensely contributed in the treatment of the prisoners during their imprisonment," he said.
"Either the jail department seniors officials or I will meet the Talwars within 15 days to expedite the formalities. Our aim is to ensure that the patients at the jail continue to get their services. The couple will be requested to attend the clinic at least twice a week," he said.
The minister also thanked the dentist couple for running the dental sanatorium for four years. The Talwars had also refused any remuneration for the products and services they rendered to the patients in the Dasna prison.
The Allahabad top court docket in its judgement had said that neither cases nor proof were enough to carry the Talwars guilty in the eye of legislation.
