NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank on Thursday issued over two million fairness stocks price greater than Rs 370 crore to its employers. The announcement was executed via the non-public lender in a inventory exchange submitting.
"We wish to inform you that the Bank has allotted today 20,56,400 equity shares to the employees of the Bank pursuant to exercise of options under its Employees Stock Options Schemes (ESOS)," the observation learn.
"The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly increase from Rs 516,79,93,234 equity shares of Rs 2 each to Rs.517,21,06,034 equity shares of Rs 2 each," it said additional.
As a result of the announcement, the inventory of the bank rose impressively in intra-day business because the scrip went up zero.86 per cent to hit the day high of Rs 1,810.
Earlier this week, the bank reported 20.1 per cent leap in internet benefit to Rs 4,151 crore for the second one quarter ended September 30, 2017-18.
