Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurates Onam week celebrations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The annual tourism week celebrations, being organised by way of the Kerala State Tourism Department as part of the Onam competition, commenced lately with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan lighting fixtures the normal lamp.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijayan mentioned the purpose of the federal government was once to create a society of equality. Though the state was once now not rich in monetary sources, Kerala was once able to make achievements in human index trends, he mentioned.

The Government has initiated programmes to create a 'Nava Keralam' with an goal to make enlargement and development based on time, he mentioned.


The Chief Minister used the occasion to warning the folk about lower in floor water degree in the state in recent years. The scenic beauty and greenery of the state has earned the name 'God's Own country'.
