Meja tense after traders go missing

ALLAHABAD: The mysterious disappearance of two native traders an afternoon in the past left Meja citizens aggravating on Wednesday. Irate locals and traders' associations blocked vehicular motion for hours hard police to track the lacking traders.

Mukesh Chaudhary, a pharmacy proprietor, had gone to his sister's house on Tuesday and has been untraceable since.


Another trader, Sushil Kumar Sonkar, has been lacking and an FIR has been lodged against unidentified individuals for kidnapping him.


On October 24, he had gone to Chatva village within the night time but did not return.


IG Allahabad range Ramit Sharma said police are going through the call detail data of the kidnapped trader.


Police said the households had not received any ransom calls until Wednesday night time.
