AHMEDABAD: It used to be a tearful-eyed reunion for Poonam, a 25-year-old lady from Jharkhand, together with her mom and brother after speding over two months at the Government Hospital for Mental Health. Poonam used to be admitted to the health facility with mental well being proceedings, by way of Madhavpura police on August 4 when she used to be found wandering on the roads of town.
Dr Ajay Chauhan, superintendent of the health facility, stated that it used to be really a celebration of World Mental Health Day (October 10) when Poonam's relatives had been found.
"During her medical check-up, it was discovered that she was pregnant," he stated. "We decided against aborting the foetus and continued her treatment. Gradually, she started talking about her family back home near Bokaro in Jharkhand. We checked with the local police when we got to know that a missing person's report had been filed," he stated, adding that the circle of relatives has been asked to be regular together with her follow-up remedy.
Her members of the family, who had instantly left for Ahmedabad on studying that she have been found, stated that Poonam used to be pregnant when she left house. Ashok Pandav, psychiatric social employee, stated that Poonam had left her husband's house for some reason and had boarded a teach.
"She had got down at Ahmedabad. Her family told us that she had mental health issues and her treatment was going on at Ranchi," Pandav stated.
