PUNE: The conventional October warmth is back with above-normal day temperatures and top humidity during the last few days but a reduction could come after a few days in the type of rain on account of a gadget anticipated over the Bay of Bengal.

"Warm northerly winds are blowing into the state, while the easterlies coming from the east are bringing along moisture. This is increasing the heat and discomfort levels. This lifting is not taking place. The heat may, therefore, continue for another two days. Thereafter, we expect some rain due to a system over the Bay of Bengal," an IMD legit stated.
