GHAZIABAD: Anjali Tiwari would have celebrated her 16th birthday next month, on December 22. After that may come the board exams, in 2018, a just right ranking in which, she believed, can be a ticket to her dream of becoming a member of air pressure.
To prepare well, she had started attending coaching classes in maths and science. She was crossing a highway in Tigri, the place the classes had been held, on Thursday when an SUV came hurtling down the street, looking to shake off bikers chasing it. It battered into Anjali ahead of she may transfer. A couple of hours later, the woman died in health facility.
It came about to be the one day when her father or brother had now not accompanied her to the coaching magnificence. "Had I accompanied her on Thursday, she probably would have been alive today," said Aditya, her bother who's in the 12th standard.

But they had been all for Anjali's training. He Class nine annual examination ranking of 85%, said her brother, was a big encouragement. She went to Bloom Public School in?? "My sister was a bright girl. She took tuitions in maths and science as she intended to take up science after class 10. She used to study till 12-1am and was focused on her goal," said Aditya.
The circle of relatives lives in a two-room set in Behrampur village in Ghaziabad that has been full of kin and neighbours because the information of Anjali's loss of life. In one nook, Anjali's classmates mourned their soft-spoken friend. "When we last spoke to Anjali on Thursday afternoon, we were planning the birthday celebrations of the brother of one of our common friends. Anjali would have herself turned 16 on December 22," said certainly one of her classmates.
Aditya alleged sufficient had now not been done to save her. "My sister was first rushed to a private hospital and then to ESI Hospital and finally to Prakash Hospital. All this while, her pulse was active, though she was unconscious. The hospital staff and doctors did not give us any correct information about her condition. We protested about this but the police did not help us. A police official spoke rudely with us," he said.
Noida police refuted these charges. "Anjali's family has not filed any complaint in this regard," said a police authentic.
Prakash Hospital said there was no negligence. Its govt director Ayush Chauhan said, "It was a clear case of serious injuries. From the accident site, she was taken to ESI Hospital in Sector 24 and the doctors there wrote down that her condition was very poor. As they were unable to handle it there, the patient was referred to Prakash Hospital."
He added, "She was critical when she came. There was no pulse and her heart was feeble. She was gasping. Breathing tube and life-saving drugs were used and all the doctors did their work and put the patient on the ventilator and on cardio-respiratory support. They told relatives clearly she was critical but they were trying their best. The patient had a head injury with internal bleeding and multiple fractures. It was conveyed in clear terms that if the patient was brought in after two minutes, she might have died on the way."
A tearful Rita Devi, Anjali's mom, spoke little. "I lost my daughter. Now I want justice for her so that her soul rests in peace," she said.
