Salem: Hadiya, who is at the centre of an issue following her conversion to Islam and marriage to a Muslim, on Wednesday talked to her husband Shafin Jahan on the telephone.
Dean of the Sivaraj Homoeopathy Medical College and Research Institute Dr G Kannan, who is Hadiya's mother or father, said she spoke to Shafin the usage of his (the dean's) telephone. "After speaking to her husband, she is in a happy mood," he advised TOI.
The managing director of the varsity said Hadiya can see her husband if she wishes to, but it's going to have to be with the permission of the dean. She will also now not have any restrictions on transferring along with her fellow scholars.

Kannan said Hadiya apologised to the varsity management for the power they have been dealing with as a result of her. "We have accepted her apology," he said.
Kannan said the varsity management had some confusion over the Supreme Court's path to permit her to continue her internship in the college. "We do not know where to take Hadiya during public and college holidays," he said. The management will way the Supreme Court to get transparent instructions on this connection, he said.
The dean said he'll now not allow visitors to meet Hadiya frequently. "At the same time, I will allow meetings depending on the person and situation," he said. Similarly, she will probably be allowed to go outdoor to purchase necessities as soon as per week with the hostel warden and police security.
Earlier, Hadiya was once delivered to the varsity from the hostel in a separate automobile owned by the varsity to take up re-admission formalities. She was once once more delivered to the hostel in the similar automobile with police protection.
