Dharwad: Amid chaos over the absence of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC) commissioner Siddalingayya Hiremath in the per 30 days meeting of the corporation, some key issues, together with extend in the sun city challenge and alleged inaction over encroachment upon Ambedkar Stadium of Old Hubballi, have been mentioned right here on Tuesday.

Patil stated if sun panels are installed at Amminabhavi — from the place water is pumped to achieve the dual cities — the HDMC can save Rs 28 crore from its electricity bill.
Altaf Kittur, corporator, ward number 65, alleged that no motion has been taken towards a personal institution which encroached upon greater than 1 acre of land at BR Ambedkar Stadium in Old Hubballi.
