There is a possible nexus between officials and traders who constantly keep flouting the norms and allow such activities. Moreover, the buildings were not equipped with firefighting mechanism," alleged a local. He asked the federal government to rehabilitate the victims.

While firefighters can only respond to such crisis, a strict mechanism should be in place to prevent such incidents," stated an respectable.
