Dancing teams to set Happy Streets on fire

Coimbatore: This Sunday, winners of TOI Gethu Choreo Hunt will set the Happy Streets on Scheme Road in Race Course on fireplace.

Dancing teams from town have won laurels around the nation. Not just in faculty fairs, however in numerous truth presentations too the dancers from the Kongu town have made their mark. On Friday, the Times of India introduced those dancers a chance to prove their mettle and emerge as the most productive choreo staff in the town.

And the TOI Gethu Choreo Hunt had around 15 teams competing for the name from around the district at Prozone Mall. These teams were judged by Balaji of Sherrif dance school and dancers Nithanandhini Manoharan and Manoj Jackson.


Most teams had a mixture of Tamil and English songs to reveal their abilities, whilst one of the most woman's staff enthralled the audience with their performance to the beats of Kovai Anthem.


For about 90 mins, the teams kept the audience spellbound with their performance. Finally, DSA Kalyani, the staff of girls studying eighth and ninth requirements from SBOA school, emerged winners. JRN Jeets, a staff of six kids under 8 years, emerged first runner-u.s.and SSVM boys' staff, 2d runner-up. The winners were given away prizes worth Rs 20,000.


The winners would get a chance to perform in entrance of a bigger audience at the Happy Streets on Sunday at Scheme Road in Race Course.
