GURGAON: In the removal of the blights of discrimination and violence, and the nurturing of peace and solidarity, children have a big role to play.
To this end, and to mark its international centenary, Mumbai-based GREY team India has joined palms with Unicef to assist improve the lives of children all over the world.
Together, GREY, a few of the world's biggest advertising and communications businesses, and Unicef have established the Global Kids Council, a one-of-its-kind inventive congress for the kids, by way of the kids and of the kids. The council is made up of younger other people from India, Brazil, The Netherlands, South Africa, Turkey and USA, boys and girls who will teach the arena's children about their rights.
In readiness of World Children's Day (November 20), GREY and Unicef tutored the council in the basics of selling, whilst also sharing wisdom and resources with the contributors so that they are better able to result in exchange this is meaningful, and rally around causes that relate to their homelands.
Arun Raman, national making plans director, GREY team India, may be mentor to Raseel Arora, a 14-year-old woman from Delhi. He, at the side of Raseel, believes that India will broaden most effective when it achieves gender parity.
"The power to shape the world rests in the hands of the citizens of our future. Things won't change unless parents, communities and society feel pride in the achievements of the girl child," maintained Raman.
As part of the initiative, a novel activation thought referred to as 'India ka Scoreboard' used to be launched. Inspired by way of the sport of cricket, the scoreboard will assist bring into the highlight the accomplishments of India's girls. "'India ka Scoreboard' has the potential to become the first, second and third umpire to girls performing across the country," enthused Varun Goswami, govt inventive director, GREY team India.
In this way, girls might be inspired to practice their skills, and are not going to ever be in need of need, resolution or perseverance. As cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, a goodwill ambassador for Unicef, mentioned on the unveiling of the initiative, "When this scoreboard will look healthy, we can confidently say India is winning." So as GREY celebrates the past 100 years, it is also pledging itself to the following century.
