SONIPAT: About 100 unmarried males had been taken for a journey through a Delhi-based ladies who duped them of Rs 45,000 each at the pretext of helping them tie the knot at an 'ashram' with a lady of their choice.
According to a file printed in Navbharat Times, the complainants waited for five hours of their marriage ceremony attire for a bus that was once anticipated to ferry them to Delhi. The car didn't became up.
Feeling cheated, the lads lodged a formal complaint against the girl and her accomplices at Kharkhauda police station in Sonipat district.
The woman named as Anita is at the run while her two aides were arrested.
