DUBAI: An Indian expat had died of middle assault here after getting the news of his mother's dying again house in Kerala, a media document mentioned on Saturday.
The incident came about on December 21 when Anil Kumar Gopinathan, who hailed from Kerala's Kollam district, was informed concerning the death of his mother, Kousalya.
Next day, he was found collapsed in his room and rushed to a medical institution by way of his friends, however in vain, the Khaleej Times reported.
Gopinathan were operating at a tailoring shop in Umm Al Quwain town for 20 years.
After receiving the news of the death of their mother, brother of the deceased Santosh, who is based in Dubai, left for his house, Gopinathan was intended to fly again to India the next day, however died of middle assault, the document mentioned.
According to government, as it took some time in making ready the documents for repatriation of Gopinathan's frame, it would now be flown to India tonight and likely to achieve his native place Parippally village the following day.
