KISS hosts mega guardians' meet

BHUBANESWAR: Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) organized a mega guardians' meet here on Friday.

More than one lakh tribal other folks, including 60,000 folks and guardians of KISS scholars, 27,000 scholars and 10,000 alumni attended the meet. Assembly of such a lot of tribals, representing 62 tribes and 13 specifically prone tribal teams from all corners of Odisha and a few other states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Assam, was once certainly one of its type, a press release said.


Like every year, KISS government made elaborate preparations, including food, accommodation and transport to host the fogeys in the mega assembly.


Speaking on the occasion, KIIT and KISS founder Achyuta Samanta informed the fogeys and guardians that most effective schooling can be sure that a dignified life to their wards as the traditional way of living is now inconceivable because of loss of natural sources.
