GURGAON: Gurgaon to Manesar connectivity is all set to get a major boost, with Haryana Industry and Infrastructure Corporation (HSIIDC) running on two hyperlinks between the Millennium City and the industrial township, barely 20 km away.
While some of the hyperlinks will connect Manesar's Sector 7 with Delhi via Dwarka parkway, the other hyperlink will connect the city's new sectors with Manesar's Sector 6, HSIIDC officers said on Thursday. Once operational, the two hyperlinks will put an end to commuter woes to a large extent.
"The first link that will connect the industrial township with Delhi through the Dwarka expressway, is almost complete. Only a one kilometre link is broken between Gurgaon and Manesar. This one kilometre is under HSIIDC and the land for the stretch has been acquired and work should be started this December," a senior HSIIDC authentic instructed TOI.
"The other route will connect IMT Manesar's Sector 6 with the new Huda sectors near sectors 81 and 82. The length of this patch is around 700 metres and the land has finalised for this as well. With these two routes going live, the problem of traffic on Gurgaon-Manesar route is likely to improve," he added.
The citizens dwelling within the new sectors off Kherki Dhaula have often complained of the perennial traffic mess on the toll plaza. The traffic menace on the toll is also a large issue for the industrialists and folks running in IMT Manesar.
