GURUGRAM: Two other people, who have been arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in a sequence of ATM frauds, have been despatched to judicial custody on Sunday.
The crime unit in Sector 39 has been interrogating Mohammed Jafar Iqbal (19), who's from Nuh, and Shakil Khan (20), a resident of Ali Mev in Palwal, since then.
The two had allegedly dedicated a minimum of 13 ATM frauds in Gurgaon, police stated.
According to police, the two used to take ATM cards from different other people after pretending to help them and turn them with replica cards.
"This happens due to lack of awareness among these people. We nabbed the two people using technical surveillance," stated the police.
A sum of Rs 66,000, 17 ATM cards, together with Visa, Master card and credit cards, and an i20 car have been recovered from them. Cops may not hit upon from where the automobile has been stolen.
