Coimbatore: Following the arrest of 8 ATM burglars, town police have asked the employers in various sectors in the town to post information about non-Tamil employees on the native police stations.

Police commissioner Okay Periaiah stated he had asked the employers in sectors similar to textile, development, inns, gold smithery and schooling, to provide main points, together with images, replica of Aadhaar card, provide deal with and in addition main points of brokers, who brought them to Coimbatore for paintings.


"There are many migrant labourers in the city. Whenever new employees from other states join for work in any industry here, their details should be given to the respective police station immediately," he stated.


The commissioner stated the details would help police to maintain a report about migrant workers. "We are also going to fix CCTV cameras at the checkposts around the city to monitor vehicle movement, which will help us crack crimes," stated Periaiah.
