GURUGRAM: The municipal company has determined to absorb work to enhance civic infrastructure at 15 unauthorised colonies across Gurgaon that these days lack even the basic amenities.
Under the move, initiated as in step with the Haryana Management of Civic Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (special provisions) Act 2016, MCG will broaden sewer traces, water pipes and many others. at a subsidized rate. While the federal government will pay for 50% of the bills incurred for the proposed construction, the remainder will have to be borne through belongings house owners at the unauthorised colonies.

"We need to collect 50% of the development charges from property owners in these colonies at the rate of Rs 1,250 per sqft. Until they pay, we will not be able to start the infrastructure work," mentioned Sudhir Singh Chouhan, senior town planner, MCG.
