COIMBATORE: 'Namma Kovai Jallikattu', which used to be to be held for the first time within the city on Friday, has been postponed to January 28. City-based Ohmkar Foundation along with the district administration had been getting ready to hold the bull taming sport near L&T Bypass at Vellalore, a unlock from the root mentioned on Wednesday.
Former MLA M Chinnaraj, who had been taking projects to hold the development within the city, mentioned that they had written to the state to inform Coimbatore as a place fit to hold jallikattu. "Only if the state notifies the city as a place where jallikattu can be held and publishes it in the gazette, we can hold the event here," mentioned Chinnaraj.
