Belagavi: Maharashtra income minister, who had objected to action towards contributors of city local bodies for chanting anti-Karnataka slogans, sprang a surprise via speaking in Kannada and making a song a track via Dr Rajkumar at a serve as in Tavag village, Gokak taluk, on Friday.
Chandrakant Patil, who may be minister in charge of Kolhapur district, was once taking part within the inaugural programme of Durgadevi Temple. With Belagavi district in-charge Ramesh Jarkiholi present at the dais, Patil started his speech in Kannada prior to moving to Hindi. Patil's gesture on Friday surprised both Kannada activists and Maharashtra Ekikaran Samiti contributors alike.
