Ballari: Nayana, the 18-month lady who went lacking from in New Hampi, close to Kaddirampura village just about Hampi, used to be discovered drowned within the water tank of her area late on Wednesday.
After Nayana went lacking on Tuesday, her parents Santosh, 26, and Geetha, 22, suspected that she might had been kidnapped for human sacrifice because it used to be an Amavasya.
But police searched the home and found the infant drowned within the water tank. They pumped water out of the tank and pulled out the frame. A postmortem used to be conducted following which police handed over the frame to Nayana's parents.
Further investigation is on, stated police.
