BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday launched the Startup India-Odisha Yatra.
The Chief Minister said the Yatra van would commute to 60 instructional establishments across the 16 districts of the state.
He said decided on ideas would be put to 3 days in depth acceleration programme and the most productive 50 innovators would be supplied incubation and mentorship give a boost to to convert their ideas into startups.
During the yatra, 500 leading edge ideas had been prone to be pitched.
The Chief Minister expressed his happiness that in the remaining eight months 175 startups had been registered with the Startup Odisha initiative and the government was fast moving in opposition to the venture of 1000 Startups through 2020.
The yatra will cover instructional establishments in Khorda, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Koraput, Rayagada and Ganjam districts.
Besides, 10 boot camps will likely be organised throughout this era at Fakir Mohan University, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Government Engineering College-Keonjhar, KITT, NIT, Vikram Dev College, Government Engineering College-Kalahandi, MST-Berhampur and BPFTIO-Cuttack.
