KANPUR: Kanpur Municipal Corporation (KMC) has extended date of tax rebate till January 31 to allow householders to avail 10% rebate.
Municipal commissioner Avinash Singh said householders must deposit tax in time for KMC to offer them civic facilities and added that householders will get 10 % rebate if they deposit taxes before January 31. He said tax payers must pass to their respective zonal offices to deposit the amount. "If they fail to deposit house tax before March 31, it will be recovered with interest," he said. TNN
