Rising star Shubman Gill shows shades of Virat Kohli

CHANDIGARH: There is an uncanny similarity in the way in which Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli play their shots. Both can hit a ball pitched just out of doors off thru additional quilt and mid-wicket. And nonetheless frames of the shots look like replicate pictures.

"I am looking forward to playing against Australia in the final. Hopefully, I can get a substantial score in that match," he stated. Shubman was once picked via Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping Rs 1.8 crore in the IPL auction on Saturday.


Asked about his most well-liked layout - the longer form, ODIs or T20s - Shubman stated, "Nowadays, cricket is all about how well you adapt. I would like to play and be successful in all three formats."
