DAVOS/LONDON: US President Donald Trump has finally published that he occasionally tweets whilst in bed as a result of his busy agenda and the wish to shield himself from a large number of "fake news" about him.
Trump uses Twitter so incessantly about critical policy issues to opposed confrontation towards nations or leaders he does not like.
The 71-year-old president's wordings and subjects about which he tweets has raised worry over his personal integrity in addition to fitness for government.
Earlier this year, Trump was criticised on the social media when he boasted that he had a "nuclear button" that was "bigger and more powerful" than North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Speaking to UK's ITV from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump said he in most cases tweets at breakfast or over lunch before getting down to the work of presidency in the day.
Trump, the first US president to attend the WEF meeting in Davos in just about 20 years, also defined his use of the social media app, pronouncing: "I name it a modern day form of conversation, k?
"If I wasn't ready to do this, as a result of I am getting a large number of pretend information, I would not have the ability to shield myself," Trump said in an interview aired yesterday.
"Perhaps [I tweet] in bed, perhaps occasionally at breakfast and lunch," he said.
He also published that he is not the one one to post from his Twitter account.
"Generally speaking right through the early morning I can do this then I'm busy right through the day. I occasionally just dictate out things to my people," Trump said.
The New York Times' White House correspondent Maggie Haberman famous that after the newspaper first reported that Trump often took to the Twitter "propped on his pillow" past due remaining year, the president was furious, she said.
Twitter said it would not block global leaders like Trump from tweeting, pronouncing such individuals "play a essential function" in the global conversation "as a result of their outsized affects on our society."
