884 companies under scanner in money laundering cases: Govt

NEW DELHI: As many as 884 firms are under the scanner in various cash laundering circumstances and property price Rs 5,000 crore were connected following probes initiated as in step with the PMLA, Union Minister P P Chaudhary stated on Tuesday.
However, he stated that no longer a single corporate has been deregistered on the fees of money laundering by means of the government.

Further, he stated that no director on the board of government firms was once disqualified for lapse in the filing financial statements or annual returns in admire of such companies.


Also, Jaitley stated that no separate database is being applied with admire to bureaucrats and politicians on board of companies
