NEW DELHI: The BJP on Monday suspended a birthday celebration functionary accused of operating over and killing 9 school scholars and injuring a number of others ultimate week in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, reported news agency ANI.
Manoj Baitha was suspended from the birthday celebration's number one membership for six years.
Baitha, who is from Sitamarhi district, was rushing in his SUV when he ran over children crossing the street on NH-77 in Minapur block.
An FIR was registered towards him based on a complaint from the daddy of one of the sufferers, and the police are lately searching for him.
Munna Yadav, the RJD MLA from Minapur, had alleged that Baitha was inebriated when the twist of fate took place.
