ALLAHABAD: Bahujan Samaj Party expelled former birthday celebration MLA Puja Pal on Tuesday night. Party zonal coordinator, Mirzapur division, told TOI: “Puja Pal (ex-MLA Allahabad West) had now not attended any birthday celebration assembly since 2017 assembly polls and there were many court cases against her. So the birthday celebration has expelled her.”
He said Pal did not answer the phone calls of birthday celebration leaders.
Pal is the spouse of former BSP MLA Raju Pal who was allegedly shot lifeless by means of Atiq Ahmad’s brother Ashraf in 2005. Puja defeated Ashraf in 2007 assembly polls and Atiq Ahmad in 2012 assembly polls.
