The electrical present of 11KV was so serious that no longer only the entire two-storey space was gutted in the blaze, however other homes in the house too suffered primary damages.

Policemen reached the spot and straight away rescued the three injured and rushed them to a personal health center. The fire brigade was alerted at around 9 am. It took them an hour to control the fire.

The three victims have been recognized as Lakshmi (27), Pooja (25) and Raunak (1). While sisters Lakshmi and Pooja have been admitted to the ICU at a personal health center Pooja’s son Raunak was discharged later in the day.

The citizens instructed TOI that this was the third time a transformer evolved faults in past one year.

"We have been complaining about this transformer to the power department for a year now. Everytime there is an incident, they would come and repair it instead of replacing it," stated Satbir Singh, whose space was gutted in the fire.

The energy officers say that they have received the complaint and necessary amendments will probably be made via Thursday.

“The citizens have met and knowledgeable us about what has happened. We will exchange the inaccurate pole from where the conductor fell, and change the burnt cables and transformer. This will probably be done via Thursday,” stated Ranjan Rao, govt engineer, DHBVN.
