NOIDA: Noida Authority has sealed 11 unauthorized structures, which might be of six to 9 flooring each in village Basai within the city on Friday. According to Authority officials, the structures have been being built on Noida’s notified land. “No one rather than Noida Authority can provide permission for the development on this land and no permission has been granted by means of us to the structures being built on Khasra numbers 319,329,328,362,357,361,359 and 365 measuring virtually 5 acres of land,” stated Rajesh Singh, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Noida Authority.
“As in step with our Master Plan 2031, the land measuring 20,000 sq. has been earmarked for residential use. Authority had earmarked the stated land for distribution to farmers as 5% evolved plots in lieu of acquiring their lands,” he explained. “The sealing pressure was once performed amidst heavy police presence. More than 150 team of workers participated within the pressure,” he added.
Singh additional stated that Authority had pasted warning notices to forestall all construction within the space as it was once unauthorised and illegal, but the unauthorized builders have no longer paid any heed. “Hence on Friday now we have sealed 11 structures to this point,” he stated. “This pressure will lift on till all encroachment is got rid of from Noida’s notified land,” he stated. “We will even no longer shy clear of wearing out demolition of those illegal structures,” he added.
On January 3 remaining month also Noida Authority had sealed 16 unauthorized structures in village Garhi Chokhandi within the city.
