NEW DELHI: Herschelle Gibbs's attempt at trolling Ravichandran Ashwin did not end smartly with the Indian offspinner responding with a fixing jibe aimed on the former South African batsman.

Ashwin posted a video promoting Nike's new vary of running shoes. Gibbs replied saying optimistically the Indian will have the ability to run faster after getting his hands on them.





This is when then conversation took an interesting turn. A stung Ashwin blasted him with a sly dig at Gibbs' chequered history with match-fixing saying while he isn't athletically talented because the Proteas however he does have an "ethical mind not to fix games which put food on my plate."
