Two arrested from Kanpur Central railway station for killing Trinamool Congress party worker

KANPUR: Two persons have been arrested from Kanpur Central railway station for their alleged position within the murder of a Trinamool Congress celebration employee in KBM house in Chakdaha the town in Nadia district of West Bengal on February 12, 2018.
Sources knowledgeable that Trinamool Congress employee was killed whilst soiree was underway in front of Purbachal Girls’ High School at KBM house in Chakdaha the town at round 11 pm on February 12 2018.


"The two arrested are Gautam Mondal and Vishwajeet Ghosh. Both are listed criminals and accused in the murder case of a Trinamool Congress worker Shantanu Biswas (30)", police resources told TOI.


Superintendent of police (East) Anurag Arya stated, each have been arrested whilst travelling in a Kolkata-bound teach at Kanpur Central railway station on Tuesday. "The duo had allegedly killed Trinamool Congress celebration employee Shantanu Biswas at KBM house in Chakdaha the town in Nadia district (West Bengal) on February 12 evening.


The town police had gained a tip-off from Nadia district police regarding their movement following which a lure was laid at Kanpur Central railway station and the 2 have been arrested from a Kolkata-bound teach on Tuesday."


Sources knowledgeable that the 30-year-old Trinamool Congress celebration employee, Shantanu Biswas was killed over a feud throughout the celebration. He used to run a mobile repairing store near the Chakdaha railway station.
