KALABURAGI: Sixteen kids have taken unwell after eating panipuri in Hosur village in Shahapur taluk of Yadgir district.
Schools declared a vacation on Tuesday for the Sharanabasaveshwar automobile competition so the youngsters were at house. Most of them flocked to a panipuri dealer within the afternoon and ate up the puri and flavoured water. Soon after, they complained of vomiting and free movement. Some kids were taken to the principle health centre within the village, where docs mentioned the symptoms were due to contaminated water.
Shahapur taluk health officer Ramesh Guttedar visited the village and picked up the samples of the panipuri water. A staff of docs are tenting within the village since Wednesday morning.
The kids are improving and will be despatched house quickly, Guttedar mentioned.
