BENGALURU: Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Tuesday renewed his attraction to the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) to believe an out-of-court settlement to the Ram Janmabhoomi row, saying he feared a "large-scale" communal flare up if the case used to be settled by way of a court or through regulation.
In an open letter to the AIMPLB individuals, he mentioned going throughout the court used to be a loss for each Hindus and Muslims and an out-of-court settlement would be a "win-win situation" for each the communities.
"I urge the leaders of both faiths to take this action seriously. Otherwise, we are pushing our country to the brink of a civil war," mentioned Ravi Shankar, who has been making power mediation efforts, meeting Muslim and Hindu leaders, to find a option to the dispute.
He gave four possible eventualities -- the court freely giving the land to the Muslims, awarding the land to the Hindus, upholding the Allahabad High Court order that says there will have to be a mosque built on one acre while the remaining 60 acres be utilised to construct the temple and Parliament passing a regulation.
"In all the four options, either through the court or through the government, the result will be devastating for the nation in general and the Muslim community in particular," he mentioned.
Ravi Shankar mentioned the most efficient resolution would be an out-of-court settlement, through which the Muslim bodies come ahead and gift one acre of land to the Hindus, who, in turn, would gift 5 acres of land close by to the Muslims to construct a bigger mosque.
He also instructed the AIMPLB leaders that Islam permitted the moving of the mosque to another location and that cleric Maulana Salman Nadvi and many different Muslim students had counseled it.
Ravi Shankar, on the other hand, mentioned, "Muslims don't seem to be surrendering this land to the individuals who demolished the Babri Masjid or to a particular organisation.
"On the contrary, they are gifting it to the folks of India. They must stay this in their minds and spirit. It is simplest reconciliation and an expression of their broad- mindedness, benevolence, magnanimity and goodwill."
