CHENNAI: Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board has warned the general public that it could start up action against consumers who don't pay the second half-year taxes and charges to the water company sooner than March 31.
In a observation, the board mentioned it could disconnect water and sewer connections of defaulting consumers if the dues don't seem to be paid.
Consumers, together with the ones in added spaces, will pay their taxes and charges at Metrowater's head place of business in Chinthatharipet and at area and depot offices. Consumers too can pay their dues online at the company's site www.chennaimetrowater.tn.nic.in.
