BENGALURU: A Right-wing activist, who was being interrogated via the SIT on suspicion that he had supplied logistics to the killers of Gauri Lankesh, was on Friday named because the accused number one in the case.
The special investigation staff produced KT Naveen Kumar alias Hotte Manja, 38, prior to a sessions court in Bengaluru.
The court prolonged Naveen's police custody via 5 days.
In its remand software, the SIT named Naveen as accused No. 1 and sought his custody announcing that he assisted Gauri's killers in sporting out the job but was not approaching on the details.
It additionally sought court's permission to subject Naveen to narco-analysis.
Naveen, the president of Hindu Yuva Sene and a resident of Maddur in Mandya district, was picked up from the KSRTC bus stand in Majestic area of the capital town on Feburary 17. The police had recovered 15 reside bullets from his ownership.
