Cops: Tejraj wracked by guilt occasionally

BENGALURU: Furniture businessman Tejraj Sharma, arrested for attempting to murder Karnataka Lokayukta P Vishwanath Shetty on Wednesday, is showing occasional signs of regret, in line with resources within the CCB.
“Sometimes, he says he must no longer have executed what he did. Then, he defends himself via pronouncing he was once determined for justice,” the resources mentioned, adding: “He appears to be in a daze, and the gravity of his act appears to be sinking in.”

Police, who had taken Sharma to his area in Tumakuru on Thursday, returned to the town with a trunkload of books related to his business.

Meanwhile, CCB sleuths interacted with medical doctors getting to Justice Shetty at Mallya Hospital on Friday night time. However, they couldn’t talk to him as he's within the Cardiac Care Unit after undergoing multiple surgeries on Wednesday.

Stable and convalescing

Dr Divakar Bhat, chief cardiovascular surgeon, Mallya Hospital, mentioned Justice Shetty will likely be shifted to the ward after 2-Three days. “He is able to talk and he walked. His condition is strong,” he mentioned.

Rajnath wants document?

BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, meanwhile, claimed Union home minister Rajnath Singh will seek a document on the attack. “He instructed us a document is being sought from the state executive on the incident,” Yeddhurappa instructed media.

However, home minister Ramalinga Reddy mentioned he hasn’t won any communication from the Centre.
