Goa govt identifies 13 sites for dumping construction debris

PANAJI: Two months in the past, the top court docket of Bombay at Goa had come down heavily on executive agencies for failing to dispose off development particles dumped along roads and highways. The public works division (PWD) has now known 13 locations throughout Goa, next to highways and state roads, to dump such particles.
PWD essential chief engineer U P Parsekar in his order mentioned that the “issue of rampant and haphazard disposal of development particles” is “out of control” and is resultantly leading to environmental issues and protection sides.
