He further mentioned that the budgeted gross borrowing through G-Secs for fiscal 2018-19 was once Rs 6.05 lakh crore which would be used to fund the fiscal deficit of three.3 according to cent of GDP.

"We are absolutely confident that we will be able to meet all expenditures without going into over draft," Garg informed reporters here.

The 47.56 according to cent of budgeted gross borrowing within the first half of subsequent fiscal is less than the common of 60-65 according to cent in final 5 years.

In addition to this, the government will withdraw as much as Rs 1 lakh crore from the National Small Savings Fund (NSSF) -- Rs 25,000 crore greater than within the present financial 12 months -- to fund the fiscal deficit.

This could cut back the overall marketplace borrowing programme of the government for all of the fiscal, Garg mentioned.

To a question on whether or not it might be less by Rs 50,000 crore, he mentioned it should be.
