Show of unity by BJP ahead of Karnataka polls

BENGALURU: In a nighttime press convention, BJP national president Amit Shah showcased “solidarity” inside the birthday party by way of hoisting the hands of both opposition leader at the legislative council KS Eshwarappa and BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa.


The move comes amid persisted buying and selling of barbs between the two state leaders.

“We have decided to combat the elections with Yeddyurappa as our CM candidate. The complete birthday party has authorised this,” stated Shah.

Shah, who held a late night dinner to set aside any variations between the two outstanding state leaders of the BJP from Shivamogga, attempted to venture the “big brother” symbol by way of taking centrestage.

The two leaders have been enticing in public tiffs and venting their anger towards every other over the previous couple of years

Sources say the nighttime solidarity display was once to put across that the central leadership was once conscious about the issues plaguing the state.
