Gurugram to get two more govt colleges in July

GURUGRAM: Two new government colleges will get started within the town at Rithoj and Manesar from July. Students can get admission in arts and trade streams at the two colleges.
The department of upper schooling approved the hole of these new colleges on Friday.

In the primary 12 months (2018-19 session), 160 students will probably be admitted to each school, with 80 each in trade and humanities.

The higher schooling department does now not have new buildings for those colleges yet. So, the varsity in Manesar will serve as from the government polytechnic school and the one at Rithoj will perform from the government number one school within the vicinity.

Over the following couple of years, the department is set to increase infrastructure for the 2 colleges and then the schools can be shifted to the new buildings.


Government Girls College foremost Sushila Sharma, who is overlooking the hole of the new colleges, mentioned, “A meeting was held regarding admission to the new colleges and the process for the 2018-19 session will get started quickly. The principals and their groups will probably be supervised on methods to run issues within the coming weeks and a report on all the procedure will probably be sent to the directorate.”


Nearly Rs 24crore has been put aside for the 2 colleges. Sharma mentioned, “The choices on rooms and sources required are still pending. The schooling directorate will unencumber budget to start the schools.”


The appointment of lecturers can also be finished by the directorate. Students of Science move must wait for admission to these colleges as laboratories aren't available yet. There are five government colleges within the town. With the hole of 2 more, the quantity will cross as much as seven.
